Norah

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Norah is a skilled Speech Pathologist specialising in paediatrics and young adults. She provides comprehensive assessments, recommends tailored interventions, and works closely with families on NDIS funding.

Norah takes a holistic approach, ensuring that the needs of both the child and their family are met.

With a passion for working with diverse individuals and caseloads, Norah focuses on articulation, language, social skills, executive function skills and functional communication using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Norah holds a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne, and she is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP). Norah is trained in the Lidcombe programme for stuttering, and Developmental Language Disorder assessment and intervention. She is also certified in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk programme for early intervention and The Shape Coding system.

Her previous experience includes working at a government school designed to support new migrants and their families. She has a special interest in paediatrics, particularly in articulation, early language intervention, parent coaching, dysfluency, executive function skills and AAC for functional communication.

Outside of work, Norah enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys listening to music and watching movies with her kids. Once or twice a year, Norah and her husband embark on a culinary adventure, visiting a minimum of 10 restaurants in a day to sample a few dishes at each spot.
